Canefields Clubhouse has a professional artist (Kerry) who comes in every Friday afternoon!  Many members who have NEVER painted have produced spectacular art work under the guidance of Kerry, and some have even made money selling art work at the Annual Art
Exhibition, Cocktail Party and Auction!!! 

Come and join the FUN, you will be surprised at what you can do.

All the enthusiastic footy supporters came to watch the final State of Origin at the Clubhouse and cheer on their team.  We had a great night watching the final whilst enjoying beer and pizza.  There was all Queensland supporters and only one NSW supporter, who was very outvoted. 

It was a very close game.  At one point when NSW was in front, the only blues
supporter quickly ducked out for a smoke and in the mean time Queensland got back in front.  It appeared every time NSW was in front and he quickly ducked out, QLD would score again, and when he would come back and realize.  It was quite funny.  At one point all the Queensland supporters thought we were going to loose and we were all on the edge of our seats, but Queensland won in the end!  Overall it was a great night and even better result!  Hopefully Queensland can do it again next year!
