Happy birthday everybody for the month of August.

On Friday 2 weeks ago, Clubhouse had a working bee.  We gave the catering unit a spring clean and organized the cupboards and white goods. In the kitchen the work area is much more organized and set out.   We also dismantled a small kitchen upstairs, which was not being used, and are in the process of turning it into office space.

Different recipes such as egg and bacon pie and vanilla slice, rice pudding also quiche, caramel tart and scones with jam and cream on them. All mouth watering new deserts. Serena always wanted to be a good cook, good on you Serena. There will be new recipes in the future from the catering unit. In July we had a

social outing to Sizzlers it was a little pricey this time but a great day. Looking

forward to Jacobs well social outing with a  barbeque and fishing on the 13th of August (RDO).  The art show is on the 10th of October 2008. John one of our

artists has raffled off his “The bath house” portrait in September. Thank you John for your kind donation towards our fundraising    efforts.

On the 19th of August 2008 Mary a senior staff member from Centrelink will visit

clubhouse to answer any questions or concerns.

Corey, Jeffery and Dorothy from the catering unit are heading to N.S.W. Sydney on the 14th to 17th  September 2008, for the Australasian conference all the best
everyone.

We have been donated a Reece hot water system by Peter Boyd, as the one we had is broken, however, it is very expensive to

install.  If you know anyone who could install it, for free, please could you let Dorothy know asap.  Please ask everyone you know for their help.
