As is the Clubhouse custom, most of the presenters
at our Conference are active members, staff and board members from ICCD
Clubhouses. You are certain to hear relevant and meaningful presentations that
are grounded in the current and day-to-day life of a Clubhouse community. Your
participation will make this an important gathering for the Clubhouse movement,
so be sure to put this date in your calendar. This conference
is sure to be an important event in the Clubhouse calendar ensuring the
growth of ICCD certified Clubhouses through Australasia.
There will be
plenty of opportunity to balance the demands of the seminar with the
peace and beauty of the Mt Tamborine
rainforest hinterlands.

topical agenda, based on the ideas and issues that you
identify. Please check the topics which are of interest to your Clubhouse and
submit here. Please note at the end of the form
there is space for you to list other topics your Clubhouse may like to see

Accommodation
Cedar Creek
Lodges offer a wide variety of accommodation, and have been categorised
into three groups as below. Please note accommodation is centered on a
first in first serve basis, so book early to save the stress later down
the track!
Low - this
accommodation group consists of bunkhouses. These rooms are dormitory style,
accommodate maximum of 8 per room, comprise of separate male and female amenities and
include a balcony area. Located in a very private part of the venue, the
bunkhouses overlook dense rainforest of Cedar Creek and Thunderbird Park.

Transport
Cedar Creek
Lodges is located 50 minutes south of Brisbane’s International Airport, and 40 minutes
north of Coolangatta’s International Airport. Canefields Clubhouse will organise airport transfers to Cedar Creek Lodges
at your request. Please provide
us with all your flight details and we will arrange transfers with
an outside company at your expense.
Fun
The 9th
Australasian Conference will offer a wide array of learning
opportunities. There will be innovative and inspiring plenary sessions
and interactive workshops combined with exciting social events.
On the final
night, the Gala night, Cedar Creek Lodges is hosting a Country and Western themed night,
with a live band, buffet stations and heel and toe dancing.
